Get Out And Lead (GOAL) is an Outward Bound scholarship program that has been developed to cultivate budding leaders through the unique challenge of a 10-day wilderness expedition. Students learn the skills that are critical to success and often not learned in the classroom- leadership styles, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and decision making. The ideal GOAL applicant is a 12-14 year old who already shows natural leadership abilities.
HOW TO APPLY
- Complete the Application, Personal Essay and Letters of Recommendation forms online, or print / mail using versions below.
- Preference is given to Maryland students.
- Submission Deadline: Completed Applications must be received by FRIDAY, MARCH 10, 2017 to be considered.
- Those selected will pay a $250 program fee ($50 with qualifying financial aid application – see printable forms below)
