WHAT IS INSIGHT?

Our one-day program is built to test students through thoughtful initiatives, and high ropes challenges. Our curriculum can be suited to almost any group dynamic, and will help students discover new personal strengths while also working on skills for communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution. Our students walk away from Insight Days feeling more connected and capable as members of their team, school, or organization. Watch the video to see more of what it looks like!

What should I bring or wear?
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes to be outside all day. We do ask that you wear close toed shoes (tennis shoes, lightweight hiking shoe or boot) and bring your own personal water bottle. A rain shell or windbreaker is a great option depending on the weather, but we have plenty of extras if you need one!
What should I wear on my One-Day Program?
Participants should wear closed-toe shoes. Sneakers are great, sandals are not. Clothes should be comfortable and appropriate for an active day outside. Please be aware that the program runs rain or shine. Dress appropriately. Except for t-shirts, do not bring cotton items, as they lose their insulating quality when wet. Wool or synthetic clothing is recommended for cooler weather.
What do I need to bring with me on an Insight Day Program?
The most important thing you need to have is a good attitude and an adventurous spirit. Your group may ask you to bring a bagged lunch. Outward Bound provides all necessary technical equipment, as well as rain gear and water. No electronic devices, including cell phones, mp3 players, video games, etc. are allowed during the program.

WELCOME TO OUR CAMPUS IN LEAKIN PARK, BALTIMORE

Yes, our campus is in Baltimore and YES, it is in the second largest forested urban park in the United States (that's bigger than NYC's Central Park — look i tup!). Your students will be blown away by the fact they are still in the city from the moment they arrive and see all the open space, beautiful trees, and spacious areas for our high ropes course spread throughout the park. Check out the Google Map below for an aerial view, and to help you navigate on the day of your program.
